Hi I'm LeAnne

I'm from Colorado. I'm a twin and youngest of seven kids. I love anything outdoors and I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student, in my sophomore year, studying Nursing. I have felt guided and directed that Nursing should be my major over the last year as I have gone through some experiences that have clearly pointed me in that direction. I love to run! It is not only a source of exercise that I enjoy, but it certainly is a stress reliever that I totally rely on! I also love to waterski. Waterskiing is definitely a great way that our family bonds together as we go waterskiing at 5 am 3 days a week in the summertime. We have had many great memories together because of it. I also really enjoy playing the piano-- a skill that came because of my mother's persistence. :) I am so grateful that I now know how to play it! It has helped me feel so much peace in my life. Being the youngest of seven kids, I have learned so many great and wonderful things from my brother's and sisters. I know that I have 6 best friends no matter what in life. They have taught me how to work hard, how to make and achieve goals, and how to enjoy life. Family is so important to me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the doctrines and principles that we learn and teach do not only give an answer to all of my questions but they provide me with unbelievable happiness. I am amazed at how much true happiness I receive from living my faith. I also am a Mormon because I have prayed to God if this church was true and I have received an answer for myself. I have felt peace in my life and joy beyond measures. Life is full of challenges and trials, but having the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life has made those challenges bearable. I am a Mormon--I live it, I love it, and I know it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through day to day actions, through the words that I speak, through thoughts that I think, and through my hope and faith in this life. I have lived with this faith for most of my life and it has weaved its way into who I am today. It isn't just a part of who I am, it IS who I am. My faith gives me greater perspective as to who I am, where I have come from, where will I go, what is my purpose in life, and how I am supposed to live. It is the answer to any and all my questions. I live my faith every day as I apply it into my everyday life, decisions, and challenges.
