Hi I'm Kyle Rowley

I start dental school this fall. I love playing racquetball. I have an amazing wife and cute little boy and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up on a fruit farm and loved the opportunity to work under the sun as a kid. I have 9 siblings and absolutely loved being in a big family. I have 5 younger brothers that I loved playing with and still enjoy hanging out with. Sports and the outdoors have always been my passions. Over the last year I've also become very interested in woodworking. I've been working for a Carpenter Shop and love everything I've learned. It is now my dream to have a fully equipped wood shop one day. I have an amazing wife and a cute little boy that loves to smile. Marrying my wife was the best decision I've ever made in life. I'll never forget the day I met her in my Sophomore high school biology class. I'll also never forget the day we got married 6 years after that. She has been my best friend for a long time. I'm about to start dental school this fall and excited to have a career that will allow me to help people. I love to have fun and work hard.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong belief that questioning yourself and your surroundings is important in every stage of life. I've found that some of the best people I know are always examining themselves and the world around them. This leads to improvement, gained knowledge, and a true understanding of the purpose of life. I strongly believe that every human being at some point in time feels the presence of an eternal, divine, supreme creator. This being is our heavenly father or simply God. From a young age, I've been blessed to feel his presence strongly and faith has come easy for me. There did come a point, however, when I really had to decide what I believed. Everyone comes to this at one time or another. I knew I couldn't live a life being actively involved in a church if I didn't know it was true, so I decided I needed to pray about it. Prayer is real communication with God. I will never forget the moments I've been on my knees and asked God, "Are you really there? Do you know what I'm going through?" Each time, God has answered through his spirit and told me he knows me, and he cares about me because he created me. These feelings have led me to live a life devoted to the gospel of Christ. It has also brought me peace because I know that tough times will pass and God will bless us in this life or in the next, if we live the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday for three hours, but living my faith doesn't stop there. Throughout the week I study the scriptures every day and pray to God at least several times a day. The most important way I show my faith is by living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Although I'm not perfect, I try to be helpful to friends and family and show love to everyone. I have the opportunity to help with the teaching of the classes during church. I am responsible for organizing volunteer teachers and helping them become better teachers. This also gives me the opportunity to teach classes as a substitute occasionally. I often find preparing a lesson helps me gain more faith than I would simply listening to someone else give the lesson and this is a great blessing. I've found that personal study and preparation are essential to build your own faith.
