Hi I'm David Davis

I have two first names, I love to play sports and workout, I am currently serving a mission in Chile and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Texas, I have five brothers, one sister and I have moved more times than I can count on both hands. When I was young I had a round start; I wasn't too big super early but I got there eventually. Sometime during 7th grade I weighed 200lbs and was somewhere about five foot six. by the time I had graduated middle school I was about 240lbs and five foot ten or eleven. needless to say, I was too big. So in my high school years I not only made it a goal to fix this, but a priority and so I did. By the time I had graduated for High school I had managed to convert fat into muscle while still losing about 30lbs. I Also played American football from when I was 9, a great motivator when I was young, until I graduated high school. During my senior year I also played rugby and plan to continue playing rugby in college when I return from my mission if the opportunity allows. During my high school years I also took multiple AP classes, graduated in the top 10% of my high school class, participated in Boy Scouts of America, earned the Eagle Scout award and participated in multiple clubs and organizations as well as church. After graduating high school, while I waited for my mission, I worked for Amazon.com for a few months. During this time I worked 40+ hour weeks, thoroughly enjoyed my time at work and the experience it gave me.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I grew up in the church, I wasn't truly converted until sometime during my senior year. When I was younger the church had always been something I did and accepted but I didn't actually know of its truth or my conviction until I was 18. I am a Mormon because I not only know that it is true, but that my life is better for it.

How I live my faith

Daily. In my thoughts actions and works. There isn't a day that goes by that something faith related pops into my head. This could be a song, spiritual prompting, or just thoughts upon the scriptures or Christ's Divinity.
