Hi I'm Adam

I grew up in North Carolina. I have been married for a year and a half. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I played basketball in high school and at a junior college. I am currently studying public relations at BYU. I love to play the guitar, go four-wheeling with my dad in the West Virginia mountains, watching sports, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I can't say that I have one particular moment in my life when I knew the gospel was true but I have come to know for myself that true happiness comes from living all of the principles that our church teaches. The world can be such a confusing place, especially for people my age. This church has helped me to make decisions based on constant truth while the world fluctuates in its standards of morality and truth. I am so grateful that my wife and I have been married and promised that if we live up to our covenants with God, our relationship will continue on past death. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book because I have applied its teachings into my own life. I did not just pray to know and wait for an answer. The truth of that book cannot be determined by mere examination or by a few prayers. The answer comes as one studies, prays, and lives what the Book of Mormon teaches will all determination.

How I live my faith

My wife and I teach the three- and four-year old's about church doctrine at the ward we attend. I also help to prepare the sacrament, which is given to the entire congregation at the beginning of our church meetings. I am a student reporter for my school paper and have the great opportunity to write about community and state-wide events.
