Hi I'm Kimberlynn

I grew up in Idaho and I am a PROUD Mormon.

About Me

If it is an outdoor activity, count me in! I love rock-climbing, canoeing, hiking, biking, camping--basically anything in the fresh air. I love learning and obtaining knowledge. I've always said "knowledge is power!" Some of my favorite subjects are Anatomy & Physiology and Biology. I have hopes of studying medicine in college. I have been called to serve a mission in the Washington D.C. South Mission, Spanish speaking. When I am older I want to get married and have a family. I have always loved the different aspects of culture and hope one day I can travel the world.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is not easy but the happiness it brings makes it 100% worthwhile. I can promise you that. When I was about 15 or so, my parents got a divorce. This was really hard on my family and it took a toll on each and everyone of us. My family started straying away from the church. I felt like no one understood me, and church was the last place I wanted to go because my family/life was no longer "perfect." I eventually disconnected all my ties with the church and told myself I would never go back. In this time, my life fell apart. I made some bad decisions, my self confidence and happiness went downhill, and I questioned if there even was a God. I realized there was something missing in my life and I knew that I needed to go to church. I didn't go back to an LDS church but I attended several Non-Denominational churches. At first, it felt great to be worshipping my Heavenly Father again but over time, the missing piece was not filled. I was still not happy and I knew I was missing something. I began to pray for guidance. One day, I looked at a family I was really close with and I could see how happy they were and I wanted that. Guess what--they were Mormon, and my prayers were answered! I started going back to church and living the right way. I started praying faithfully and REALLY relying on the Lord. Over time, I became HAPPY. The thing I was missing was the comfort I could only have from living the Gospel. I discovered for myself that THIS church is the right church, the TRUE CHURCH. I learned that this church is meant for imperfect people. The members are not perfect, but the Gospel is. Whenever you feel like you're alone, the Lord is with you, I know this! All the hard things we go through help us become stronger! We are all children of God and He wants the very best for us-- He wants us to be happy! It is never too late for a change.

How I live my faith

The church is a great place to meet new people. I love the fact that if you move anywhere in the world, you don't have to worry about being alone because you can connect with your ward/church family. You always have your ward to rely on. As a missionary, I live my faith by inviting others to come unto Christ. I want everyone to learn about their individual relationship with God and what their purpose is here on this Earth. I feel so special knowing that Heavenly Father has called me to be His disciple to extend one of the most important invitations.
