Hi I'm Dei

I'm a student at BYU. I'm a proud convert to the church, and preparing to serve a full time mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second youngest of four children. I am a college student still trying to figure out what the lord has in store for me. I love singing, softball, the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I was lead to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by my Savior. Throughout my life I have attended a wide variety of churches, searching for answers, that to me, other churches just couldn't answer.

How I live my faith

There are so many different ways to live your faith, I live my faith through constant communication with my Heavenly Father, through prayer and through listening to modern day revelation. I live my faith through fulfilling my calling as a Relief Society instructor and visiting teacher, studying the scriptures, and serving others. When I have questions, concerns, fears, doubts, or I just need someone to listen to me, I can always use the tools that He has provided me with here on earth to speak with Him. Through prayer I can speak to my Heavenly Father, He may not always answer my prayers the way that I want, or when I think I need them, but always how I need them, and at the perfect time. Through reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible together, I was shown the love that He has for not only me but all of his children in the past, now, and those to come.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Dei
We believe that when we die, our spirit and our body are separated. Our physical body stays one earth, and our spirit go to the spirit world. In the spirit world, we learn more and progress just as we do on earth. We stay in the spirit world until the second coming of Jesus Christ. At this time everyone that ever lived will be resurrected, meaning that our body and our spirit will come together and never be separated again. After we are resurrected we will be judged of our works from when we lived on earth. The judgment will determine which glory of Heaven we will live in for eternity. In order of highest glory; Celestial, terrestrial, and telestial kingdom. The Celestial Kingdom is where God, our Heavenly Father, lives. Show more Show less
