Hi I'm Malinda

I'm a math teacher, a mom, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of seven children. I love to knit, crochet, sew, read, ski, hike, and I LOVE Disneyland! I have been married for five years and I have two beautiful children. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's in Education, and I taught Algebra for four years.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. But when I was a teenager I wondered if it was really true. I was reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it, and after a week long church camp called Especially for Youth, I received a very strong witness that the book of Mormon was true. I got married when I was 20 and got a divorce less than five years later. That time was very difficult for me and I struggled with going to church, but after I got divorced I renewed my commitment. That first year after my divorce was a wonderful time for me. I felt very close to the Lord and was very richly blessed! I then married a wonderful man and have since had two beautiful children, a boy and a girl. My family is the light of my life and I do not know where I would be without them. I am so grateful to know that I can be with them forever!

How I live my faith

I love attending church and serving those in my neighborhood. I love to sing, and enjoyed directing the choir in my congregation for a few years. I have also taught the children and played the piano for meetings.
