Hi I'm Emily

I'm from Wyoming. I love Science-Fiction. I'm serving a mission in Nashville area, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies are archery, astronomy, camping, hiking, reading, watching movies and writing. I want to go to college to become a screen-writer and write Science Fiction shows and movies. I love Star Trek and Doctor Who and the characters and adventures that I write. I also love the gospel of Jesus Christ, and have a testimony of it in my own life.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was blessed to be born in a home where the church was shared by both of my parents, I have not always taken the gospel as seriously as I do now. As I have matured I have come to know for myself, very slowly, that this is the True Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have also learned that in order to be truly happy in this life and the life to come that it is not only necessary to receive the gospel, but to live it and love it. Sometimes you just need a little faith and a little work before you finally find the joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying, studying the scriptures, paying tithing, and through acts of charity like collecting food for the poor, or giving basic astronomy lessons at our youth girls' camp. I also show it with my modesty of dress, by not eating or drinking coffee, tea, alcohol, or using tobacco or drugs, and by having a clean vocabulary. I am also serving a Mission for the Church in the Tennessee, Nashville area.
