Hi I'm Hannah Kathryn Leavitt

I'm a statistics major at BYU, second degree black belt, lover of books, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at BYU studying statistics. I love to play soccer, do yoga, rock climb, read, and listen to music. I will be serving in the Russia, Samara mission from July 2014-January 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that I need Christ in my life. There is an undeniable light that only the gospel gives, and the more I learn the more it shines in my life. I am a Mormon because I believe it is the best way to find happiness and fulfillment in life. Mormonism, I believe, offers direct access to the Lord's love. At different times in my life I have felt isolated and lost. During one of these times I attended a baptismal service for a friend's cousin. As I was sitting in the church parking lot, thinking about what I wanted from life, and the role that the church would play in that, my friend came and sat down beside me and told me "Hannah, you are going to feel lost in the world. But this church is one place you will always be found". I am a Mormon because I feel the love of Jesus Christ daily as I strive to become the person that He knows I can be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by getting up every morning and choosing to follow the Lord. I try to stay close to the spirit. I honestly try to deepen my relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ, every day.
