Hi I'm Fiona

I am Indonesian, and a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mormon and I like to cook, read, organize, and travel. I am now a student at Brigham Young University-Hawaii and majoring in Business Management-Marketing.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon since I was born, but I never regret being a Mormon. Why? Because I know that the teaching is true. I know that Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was chosen to restore His kingdom again here on earth in this modern day. I always feel loved and protected by my Father in heaven and Jesus Christ. I love Them. I feel that I am becoming closer and closer to the Lord when I try to keep His commandments. I always feel calm and this wonderful feeling is just so remarkable. I am grateful to be a Mormon. :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by faithfully obeying the commandments, praying for others, helping others, and loving others. I love the gospel, and love to read it everyday. Not only read it, but share the gospel is one thing that I love to do. I also participate in my ward by doing what I am supposed to do such as visit teach my neighbors and share the restored gospel with others who are both members and non-members. I am grateful I have this wonderful opportunity to share what I know and believe in with people. :)

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Fiona
In Alma 32:36, it says, "Now, as I said concerning faith—that it was not a perfect knowledge—even so it is with my words. Ye cannot know of their surety at first, unto perfection, any more than faith is a perfect knowledge." Sometimes, imperfection causes people to lose their faith in Christ. And as we all know, there is nothing perfect here in our world. By reading the scriptures daily, faithfully praying to Heavenly Father, and having confidence in ourselves and Jesus Christ, our faith in Jesus Christ will increase. We all know that everything begins within our minds. Once we have a good thought or perspective, every thing becomes right, possible, and better. But when we have an unpleasant thought, every thing becomes bad, impossible, and wrong. This happens to us. But remember, our mind is controlled by us. Don't ever get tempted to think badly about something. Believe that we are loved by Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. They love us all, now matter what we did in the past. Believe that They are expecting us to know that we are loved, and that we want to learn and become better. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are patient to see our progress. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love us. We now only need to believe and have confidence that we are loved. :) Show more Show less
