Hi I'm Tyler

Farmer, student, soldier, and look beautiful on a dirtbike. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 22 years old. I grew up on a farm baling alfalfa, eating asparagus, and harvest potatoes. I love driving the tractors and the excitement of the various challenges that come from farming. I have been studying agricultural technologies at college. I'm an adrenaline junky who love riding and jumping dirtbikes, shooting guns, backcountry snow skiing, slalom water skiing and various other activities. I love sports. I played as an outside linebacker, was a state wrestler, and have been part of a college jiu jitsu team. I even love playing the occasional video game. Music is apart of my life. I love country and rock. Some favorite bands being "The Zack Brown Band", "Linkin Park", "Papa Roach", "Rise Against" and "Shinedown". I've learned to play both the piano and the guitar. I was an assistant high school wrestling coach. I have traveled and I did lived in the Middle East for two years.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ has been a great blessing in my life. The youth programs have helped me growing up. It was a blessing to get to know people my age with good standards. We would do activities that were both fun and taught us things we would need in life. Activities included lots of camping, rock climbing, first aid, swimming, dances, and much more. The activities, as great as they are, are not why I am a Mormon. I'm have a testimony that the church is true, that God lives and loves us. He answers our prayers. He knows us by name. He is our father. He sent is son to atone for our many sins. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I would challenge anyone to read and know for themselves whether it is true. You cannot know for yourself unless you give it a try. In fact, the only way you can know any of this is true is through the Book of Mormon. There is no half way, it is either the word of God or of the Devil. Best way to decide which it is, is by reading. Just like stated in the Bible, the Devil will never teach of Christ or of good. Open it and decide from there. You will see God's blessings and feel his warmth in your heart. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen Bu hayatta birkaç şeyi öğrendim. Thomas S. Monson peygamberdir. Eğer Mormon kitabı okusanız onun doğru olduğunu bilebilirsiniz. İsa Mesih adıyla söylüyorum Amin.

How I live my faith

Service is how i try to show it. I worked and taught young men from the ages of 12 to 13 every Sunday and Wednesday. I was also an assistant scoutmaster. I try to stay active in the community by helping to coach both high school and little guy wrestling. I was given the chance to live in Turkey for 2 years and serve both the refugees and the people there.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Tyler
We have been given the Word of Wisdom which a list of commandments to help keep our bodies health and addiction free. We are commanded to stay away from Tobacco, Alcohol, Coffee, Tea, and Drugs. We can take medication and vaccinate ourselves. The Tobacco, Alcohol, Coffee, Tea, and Drugs are not ok though. I know many who can't get up without coffee. It is a great blessing to not be addicted to any of these substances and to be free from their health dangers. We are also commanded to keep our bodies healthy and active. We are not to over eat. With physical health comes spiritual health. Show more Show less
