Hi I'm Taylor

Hey everyone! My name is Taylor. I grew up in Blackfoot Idaho and love the Church. I enjoy so much good stuff in life!

About Me

I grew up in a sweet Mormon house. As a kid I loved when my mother baked me banana bread and home made cookies. As a teenager my faith in Christ developed and strengthened. This came from me starting to read the scriptures, namely The Book of Mormon. When I turned 19 I was determined to serve a mission and repay the Lord for the blessings he had given me. I was able to aid the people of Brazilia, Brazil in finding the same faith and hope that I enjoyed so freely in my life. This really opened my eyes to the extent that Christ's Atonement can help us. Now, back home, I am attending Brigham Young University Idaho, studying electrical engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is a great benefit to me in my life. There are always challenges and struggles that exist in my life and having the faith in Christ that I have allows me to face the trials when they arise and I often learn so much about myself afterwards. There are so many benefits and blessings for living the way I do. I am able to keep myself clean from the stains of the world and have great friends who likewise help me do that. I know I am a Son of God. I know that he has restored his church in this day and age and that there is a Prophet that leads and guides us. The scriptures are true. I have a testimony that Jesus is the Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of the World.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is extremely important to me. I have the great opportunity to serve in my YSA ward as a President of an Elder's Quorum. This allows me to be an example to the others an inspire them to continue to live their faith. Another very super important aspect of living my faith is reading the scriptures on a daily basis. Not only reading The Book of Mormon has helped me but also studying the words of the ancient prophets that have testified of Jesus Christ. This strengthens my faith and testimony of the living Christ.
