Hi I'm Diana

I grew up in Utah. I love running, ice fishing, and playing the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student in college and preparing to serve a full time mission in California. I love outdoor activities, working with my cousins on their honey bee farm, and learning to play the ukelele.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an L.D.S family and I have decided to continue to follow my Savior in his Restored Gospel. I know that it is true. We are the children of God. "The spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God."(Romans 8:16). Our lives are given for us to "prepare to meet God" (Alma 34:32) and through our Saviors sacrifice for us, we can. My life has direction, I have purpose, and I am filled with happiness and joy. I know that my Savior lives and to all those who come unto him in his Gospel will find joy, and "his soul shall never hunger nor thirst, but shall be filled" (3 Nephi 20:8).

How I live my faith

I love working as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In my calling, I get to visit at least three ladies in my area a week. I go to their house, even if all I know about them is their name and address, and we talk. It definitely gets me out of my comfort zone and helps me build long lasting relationships! Our Father in Heaven's children are each important to him "Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God" -D&C 18:10

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is "built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone"(Ephesians 2:20) today as it was in the time of Christ. Showing us that "God is the same yesterday, today, and forever."(Mormon 9:9, also Hebrews 13:8). Show more Show less

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Our Father in Heaven and Savior, Jesus Christ have given to us our priceless lives and families. They continue to bless us with tender mercies each day. I know the Church is true and I desire to "serve him who has created [me] from the beginning, and is preserving [me] from day to day" (Mosiah 2:21). The Lord has asked the members of his Church to "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house; and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it" (3 Nephi 24:10). We pay 10% of our income because the Lord has asked us. It helps further his work on the Earth and gives us the great opportunity to show our faith in Him. Show more Show less
