Hi I'm Jason Andersen

I am from Idaho. I went on a mission to Honduras. And I love my family. I love dancing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small time place surrounded by farms. I worked on farms and around animals all of my life. I love going camping, shooting guns, playing games with my family, spending time with friends, and generally much of anything to do with my family. I am a college student studying to be an electrical engineer and I am still not sure where my life is headed but I am trusting in God to lead me to where He wants me to be and what He wants me to do with my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and for most of my youth I just did everything because it was what was expected of me. But there came a time when i started to question everything that I had ever known. I think I am a little to logical for my own good and my biggest struggle was with the question if God even existed. And if He did, did He, an all knowing and all powerful being, really love me and care for what happened to me? These questions were answered when I was about 17 years old and the Lord told me in a very personal way that He is there and that He does love me. I received this message through a missionary from the LDS church and this is the biggest reason that I went on a mission, because I wanted to touch peoples lives like my life was touched. And while I was in Honduras I was blessed with many experiences of helping people come closer to Christ. And now as I go to college I thank God every day for the faith He has blessed me with and the trust I have in Him that He has everything planned out and under control. And He loves me and His goal is to help us all be together as families forever. More than anything I am a Mormon because I believe that I can be together with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I try my best to be involved in my community and my ward, or religious group. I don't currently have many responsibilities but those I have I always try to do as much as I can and I love visiting people and helping them out. Sharing messages about Christ and the gospel is something that can really help me out, and help others around me. As I edify others I find myself being edified at the same time. Since I am a little new where i live I haven't gotten to know everyone yet but I love getting to know new people and I can't wait to meet everyone.
