Hi I'm Dane Whittaker

I grew up in southern Utah. I'm attending BYU. I love sports. I'm married to the most beautiful girl. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am lucky enough to be able say that I married the girl of my dreams and that I can be with her for an eternity. I love being physically active. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and I have enjoyed the opportunity of learning, playing, and competing in several sports. I served a mission in the Guatemala, Quetzaltenango mission. There I learned to serve, teach, and follow my Savior. I'm blessed to have the best family anyone could ask for.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have studied, prayed, and have put in practice the gospel principles. I am humbled to have the knowledge that Jesus Christ came to this world to die for me. I have a knowledge that with the atonement we can be forgiven of our sins and become pure just like He is.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service, prayer, and my testimony. Service is the most gratifying and selfless acts that we can do. As we go out of our way to help another person we can truly feel the Savior's love. Prayer is a powerful tool that God gave us. We have the ability to have a relationship with our loving Heavenly Father. We can speak with Him at anytime of our day. The thought of someone that is as powerful as He is, and he wants to hear from me is humbling. As I live and practice the two items above my testimony is strengthened. I come closer to my Savior and I feel more fully of His love for me.
