Hi I'm Elsha

I'm a traveler, a wife, a creator, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm an active person who is constantly working on a new project. I love to create, through painting, sewing, and building. I also love running, traveling, and learning. My house is full of books and maps, with trinkets from all of my adventures. I used to live in Moscow, Russia and have a deep love and appreciation for the people and country. Over two years ago I married my best friend, who I met in my 6th grade math class. He is the peanut butter to my jelly, the ketchup to my french fried, and the cheese to my cracker. Although, it did take him 10 years to convince me of that, but that is another story for another time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon church, but I was not personally converted until I was in high school. Even with the truth in front of me, I still struggled with answers to my questions. It was not until I humbled my soul and invited the Spirit of God to be with me that was able to see and embrace the truth. I am a Mormon because I know that this is God's true church, the same church that Jesus Christ established and taught while on the earth. I know that God loves me and I know that I can return that love by following His teachings.

How I live my faith

I firmly believe in the principle of service. I have experienced small acts of service, both given and received, completely change my attitude and beliefs. My favorite experience was teaching Sunday school to children. Their pure joy for life was always lifting my spirit, and kept my testimony strong. The simple truths of this Gospel are beautiful and applicable to all ages.
