Hi I'm Chase

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. I attended BYU but am taking a break to serve my mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After my mission I will continue my college career. During the winter I enjoy going up to the mountains with my friends and going snowboarding. When it is not so cold out I love to play ultimate frisbee. My favorite thing to do is to just hang out with my friends, even if we are not doing anything specific.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the great happiness it brings me. The friends I have made in the church are some of the funnest people I have ever met. I hope to keep these friends as life long friends. The adult leaders in the church teach me many lessons and are great examples to look up to. I always feel like I belong when I am around other members. The morals that I set for myself because of the church have allowed me to live a clean life and have contributed to teaching me which kinds of friends to pick. The Holy Ghost has been a major tool in keeping my testimony strong. Whenever I feel the Holy Ghost it brings me peace or keeps me safe from danger or acts as an answer to many of my prayers.

How I live my faith

I have previously been president of my age group's youth group. In that position I have helped organize and execute group events such as camp outs and hikes as well as conducting our weekly meetings. I now am going to serve as a missionary for the Church and try to spread the gospel in the area I am assigned. I have always served others as a member by helping members and non members move or helping with difficult landscaping or housekeeping problems.
