Hi I'm Carlo Sacco IV

Grew up in North Ogden, Utah. Converted to the Church on February 16, 2013. Called to the Georgia Atlanta North Mission!

About Me

Simply I am a regular person from Utah. I grew up not being a member of the church and in a non-member family. My favorite things to do is anything friends, family, and sports. I joined the church in February of 2013 and through Jesus Christ my life is now full of more happiness, hope, and purpose. I am currently a missionary for the Church in Georgia and I enjoy serving others and helping them to receive the blessings of the Gospel. I love everything about the family. I look forward to being a light to my current and future family and helping them all come to Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to join this church because I felt like I was missing something before I was baptized and that this church was filling that void. I grew up in North Ogden, Utah and never really surrounded myself with people of the LDS church until the end of high school. When a few personal events happened my senior year I became really lost. By this time all my friends were LDS and supporting me. I always saw a light in them that I was curious about but never had the courage to ask. Sometimes I asked questions about the church but never went to the point of going to church or talking to the missionaries. Finally by the end of my senior year I was so saddened I decided to go to church with my friend Sam. It really brought a lot of peace and joy to me that I loved but still I hadn't found the courage to talk to the missionaries out fear of what my family would think. After I graduated my friends made numerous efforts to talk to me about the church but me being very stubborn ignored them. Once all my friends starting leaving and going on missions I really became interested in the church I realized I needed to make a change. So on new years eve I went to my friend Steve and asked him for a Book of Mormon. I read it for a month and really felt the spirit as I read it. I then started the missionary lessons and after two weeks I was converted to the Lord and His church. I could never imagine how amazing the Gospel really is and how wonderful the gifts of the Atonement and Eternal life are. I have grown to love my Heavenly Father and my savior Jesus Christ. I know Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and because of his sacrifice we can receive mercy and remission of our sins. I know this is Christ's true church restored to the earth today through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know the Book of Mormon is true and is the word of God. This Gospel has brought peace and happiness to my life, has really changed me, and has given me hope.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping the commandments of Heavenly Father and trying to be an example to my family and those younger then me in my ward family. Before I got my mission call I was a Sunday school teacher for the ten year olds at church! Now I go to the adult classes and mission prep class to help me prepare for my mission. I love bearing my testimony of the church and restored gospel. I always try to do my best to participate during classes at church. I am always looking to help everyone and serve everyone.
