Hi I'm Brad Francis

I am an English Education student at Utah State University. I love to fish, and I am a sports fanatic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For as long as I can remember, I have loved to read. Some of my first books were Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, and the Harry Potter series. My distinct passion of reading led me in my current path towards English Education. The long-term goal for me is to become an administrator at a high school. I love working with people, especially adolescents. My hobbies include sports, fishing, and hiking. One of my favorite pastimes is catching fish from the shore while chit chatting with my brother. Some would say that I am somewhat of a sports fanatic. I will watch anything from golf to football. Right now my life revolved around my wife and daughter. We do everything together, and I would not have it any other way.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel brings me more joy than I have ever found any other place. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints teaches that families can be together forever. People we love will always be around to support and sustain us. Family is one of the most important aspects of my life. Everything that I do is centered around my family. True joy comes from following the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

At this present moment, I am a pseudo stay-at-home dad. My wife is very busy obtaining an education, and her classes are very rigorous. I find myself spending a lot of time playing with my daughter, cleaning the house, and doing homework. I live my faith by teaching my daughter the principles that mean so much to me. Even though she is only a couple of years old, I am able to teach her the things that matter most to me like how to be a good person, and how to help other people. At two years old, she teaches me things about the gospel of Jesus Christ that I never knew. I live my faith by being a good dad for her. She drives me to be a better person.
