Hi I'm Matthew

I ride a Honda Shadow Spirit. Love humanitarian work. I'm heading to the Mexico City North mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Each summer I have had the opportunity to serve people of other countries. Recently, I helped to build an elementary school in Bolivia. I have also assisted in the development of septic systems in Tonga. I enjoy being immersed in other cultures and traveling. My goal is to attend medical school after my mission to study orthopaedics and eventually practice as a surgeon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I feel it to be true. My heart swells each time I hear a testimony of the Prophet, Joseph Smith or whenever I read of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that this is the true, restored church of God and I will always be proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I do live my faith. I pray about and ponder the scriptures that I read. I have heroes within the Holy Scriptures and also without. Such heroes with qualities of honor, love of country, trust, and care for the liberties of their people. I support the living prophet and I follow his advice. One of my more recent heroes is George Washington. I truly admire men of valor, leadership, integrity, and honor.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Missionaries leave their families for two years so that others may be with theirs for eternity. We want our brothers and sisters to return home to our Heavenly Parents. Show more Show less
