Hi I'm Rebecca

I live in Independence Missouri and work in a yogurt shop. I love gems and minerals and brussel sprouts. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student and a new wife living in Missouri. I met my I love going to museums, and studying art and classic literature. I also run half marathons as frequently as possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and am blessed every day of my life by the knowledge and blessings that come from it. I know that God is our Heavenly Father and that he has a plan for each of us to return to live with him again. He guides us in every way through living prophets, scriptures and spiritual growth and learning from gospel learning and church attendance. The more that I follow his word, the happier and closer to Him I become. I was raised in the church and was blessed to learn as a child of my Heavenly Father's love for me and His desire for me to be happy. My loving parents guided me to develop and grow firm in that understanding and now I feel His love for me each day. I would wish for that understanding of His love to be felt by all people. When we learn to love back and to follow His Son, our Savior our hearts grow stronger and more sure of His truth. In moments of sorrow and loneliness I feel His love for me and know that through continuing on in the gospel I will someday return to live with him.

How I live my faith

I've had fun planning activities and parties for young single adults in our area. I've had lots of opportunity to invite people to join us and to visit those not attending church at this time. I loved serving there. I was blessed to meet my sweet husband through service with the young single adults and now we are in a new congregation together. I'm excited to see how we will serve here.
