Hi I'm Tyanna

I'm a small town girl. I'm a wife and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of 4 kids, and I grew up in a small town in Northern Utah. I have been married to my awesome husband for almost 3 years, and we have a little boy who keeps us very busy! I have a bachelor's degree in History, and I work part time at a credit union while my husband is finishing up his degree to become an engineer. We love doing anything together as a family, especially outdoors. I love reading, crafting, and dreaming about traveling the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon faith. While I never questioned it, there came a point when I realized I needed to know for myself if it was true. I prayed to know that this church is Christ's church on earth, and the Holy Ghost helped me to know that it is true. I am a Mormon because His gospel gives me a purpose in life. I know where I came from and why I am here. I know I have a Heavenly Father who loves me, and while that doesn't make life easy, it definitely makes it easier! I am so happy because of the gospel truths that I know, and it means everything to me.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by actively participating in my ward. I love going to my church meetings on Sundays (even though sometimes it is tricky with a little one.) I go to a ward that meets on a university campus, and it is my job to take pictures of all the new families that move into the ward. We have lots of people moving in and out with each semester of school, so there are always lots of new people to get to know. I also try to live my faith by being an example to everyone around me on a daily basis, especially our little boy.
