Hi I'm Marcus McCloskey

I'm from San Diego. I love playing water polo, soccer, and swimming. My favorite movie is Back to the Future. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently 19 years old, about to serve my mission in the Chicago West Mission. My hobbies are I love to ride roller coasters, be athletic, doing service for others and watching movies. I recently came back from BYU-Idaho, those two semesters up there were one of the best years of my life. I really enjoy working with all sorts of people one in which are little kids because they help me give a good understanding of how to be a great father in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love how everyone has a lot of gratitude for the church and for each other. Attending BYU-Idaho was great especially having all of the students being Mormon it really was inspiring to give testimonies and hearing about there mission experience. The Book of Mormon has a huge impact as well because it has blessed my life through very tough trials. I love reading the Book of Mormon, it really is the only true book.

How I live my faith

Recently, this family I know very well in my ward needed help in there yard, but both the parents work full-time so they needed a young man to do their yard work. I told them I am willing to do anything they ask and I went ahead and cleaned there yard. There have been other times where I went on splits with the missionaries in our ward. Every time, I went with them I felt a great feeling and I knew that feeling was the Holy Ghost guiding us along.
