Hi I'm Brooke

I grew up in Utah. I am married to my best friend and am blessed to be a Mom of 3 handsome boys. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a large family of 8. I am #3 of 6 kids, a typical "middle child". I am a peace-maker at heart, love being outdoors, and love animals. When I was young I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up. However, once I got to college I chose a much different route...accounting! I have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and owned my first accounting firm at the age of 22, with my husband and best friend, who also has a degree in accounting. We got married young and had the opportunity to attend college together. Since graduating college, we have been blessed with 3 handsome boys. They are the light and joy of my life. Even though some days are hard and I question if I am doing a good enough job to raise happy, healthy, loving and respectful boys, I get great strength from the Lord. When I turn to him, he helps guide me to make the right decisions, and ultimately, just to help me love them. When I am not taking care of my boys, I enjoy getting pedicures and shopping, taking walks outside, and going to sporting events with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a picture frame in my kitchen with the quote: I am a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it. That is why I am a Mormon in a nutshell. I have been a Mormon my entire life. I don't know anything different, and quite frankly, I don't want to. I have received such happiness in my life from my membership in this church..I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is true and the principles it teaches are the full truth restored to the earth today. I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and the love that he has for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church each week Our meetings last for 3 hours and during the last 2 hours I have the opportunity to teach the 4-5 year old children. I love teaching them because I get to teach the simple and basic truths of the gospel. I love seeing their eyes light up as they learn principles of the gospel. I also live my faith in my home by reading the scriptures and praying everyday by myself and with my family. We also hold weekly family nights where we talk about gospel principles and have fun! I also attend the temple as often as possible, and participate in monthly workshops with the other women in my faith where we learn and grow together, helping each other with issues we may be facing today.
