Hi I'm Dani

I was born in Arizona and raised in Texas. I love birthdays and bright colors. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love people and I love being active and DOING things. I hate to miss on things and I love trying new things! I especially love sports! Soccer is my first love and I've played since I was 3 years old. I also love music but i'm tone-death and cannot lead music to save my life. This does not stop me from jamming out in my car and having crazy dance parties while I clean. I just finished my my freshman year of college. I have always taken school very seriously and believe that hard work pays off. I hope to be an advertising major and will apply when I return from my mission. I have been called to Milan, Italy. I am excited to get to serve for a year and a half.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to be born into this church, both of my parents are members. But I am not a member because they wanted me to be. I am an adult now and I can make my own decisions. I choose to be Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love being Mormon. I know this church is true because I asked my Father in Heaven. I love how much this church emphasizes personal revelation and finding answers for yourself. I am thankful for the happiness being a member of this church has brought me. I love how living the standards taught in this church has taught me to be a better friend, daughter, and neighbor. I have learned to selflessly serve in this church. I have learned to rely on my Father in Heaven. I love how this church brings families together and how it emphasizes the need for strong, loving families. I love how this church brings me closer to my Savior. I love being Mormon because it makes me happier than anything else in this world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying to Heavenly Father every morning and night and constantly during the day. I try to study the scriptures daily. I love the how much reading the scriptures can bring peace and guidance into my life. At school I was assigned to work with the sister on my dorm room floor and serve them and care for them when they were struggling. This has been one of my favorite callings, or assignments, I've had in the church. It has helped me to see the girls on my floor like my Heavenly Father sees them and love them as He would. Now, I am about to leave on a mission for the church for a year and a half. I haven't always wanted to serve a mission, but I know this is what my Heavenly Father has planned for me. I am excited to share the good news of the gospel to the people of Italy. I know serving won't be easy and I will have to make some sacrifices but I know it will be worth it. I want to serve because I want others to feel the joy I get to feel as I live my faith.
