Hi I'm Nicole

I’m a dancer. A Byui graduate. A sewing fanatic. A future sister missionary. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah, but moved out East to a small town called Bridgeport, West Virginia, at the age of fifteen. I have a confession of eating too many mini-Rolos, ice cream, and peanut butter! Mmmmm! Although, sweets may be tempting, I have a bigger passion for the outdoors; rock climbing, running, and hiking. I am a dancer since birth, love sewing for myself and for others, have traveled to many places, and have read just about every book in the library. If you want to put a smile on my face, kids will do the trick!! Currently in my life, I have just recently graduated from BYU Idaho, became an Aunt, and most importantly, I received my mission call to Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I KNOW that this gospel is true. I have found the church to be true because I have knelt down on my knees and poured out my heart to my father in heaven.  Like Joseph Smith, I wondered whether I belonged to the true church. I was raised a Mormon, but the choice I made to join the church was my own. I gained a true testimony of the church when I was 15, and I felt the Holy Ghost answer my prayer. I found that I knew the Book of Mormon was true as well as knowing Joseph Smith was a prophet who restored the church. I AM a strong believer in repentance, knowing all can be forgiven. The power of prayer is given to us to communicate with him, and God loves each and every one of his children, because without Him in my life, I would be lost.   I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, because I UNDOUBTEDLY know that this is the only true church, and I have felt the spirit (Holy Ghost) confirm this. I have felt the over whelming burning bosom in my heart of its truthfulness.  Jesus Christ is real. He is my guide, my healer, my everlasting happiness.   I am a Mormon because of the eternal happiness we will receive in this life and the life to come. Because of this church I know that I can be with my family again. It separates us from the good and the bad. But above all else, I TESTIFY that this church is true. This church is my life, it is my home.

How I live my faith

I am trying to keep my promises I have made to the Lord by obeying his commandments. I participate in giving ten percent of my income to the church, sharing my testimony of the gospel with others, and will soon be serving a mission in Argentina. I can’t wait for the callings and opportunities that lie ahead for me in this church.
