We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm Madi :)

I firmly believe that the best sermons are preached with lives, not lips. I love bananas. I am a Mormon.

About Me

College student. Passion for learning, and life in general. Love anything health/ nutrition/ fitness- related. Love getting out there, getting involved, and making new friends. Love to travel and explore and just be outdoors; constantly in awe of this beautiful world. Blessed. Unë jam Madi (Motra Rajlli), jam student në Universitet, jam nga Florida, do të shkoj në Shqipëri pas Krishtlindjes sepse do të jem Misionar, edhe unë e di se, ky Ungjillin i bukur është i vërtetë. Я очен люблю ето церкоф Mein Glauben ist sehr wichtig zu mir, und dies schönes Evangelium hab' ich ganz lieb.

Why I am a Mormon

Having moved many times; different countries during my childhood, a few different high schools... this Church and this Gospel have been a source of consistency among change. If nothing else, I am a Mormon because of the healthy, practical values that go along with this church; refraining from drugs and alcohol, abstinence before marriage, integrity/ strong work ethic, service/ charity/ selflessness, emphasis on family... the list goes on. But it's even more than that. I love knowing that my life here on earth has a purpose. I love that I can find answers that make sense, to questions that keep me up at night. I love that as a member of this church I am given an eternal perspective; the ability to prioritize what is really important, and which areas I should be placing my focus on. I love that because I am a Mormon, I am a happier person. (And isn't that what we're all on... the Pursuit of Happiness?) Recently I have gained a deep appreciation and love for the Book of Mormon (which, btw, contrary to popular belief, does not replace the Bible, rather confirms and further testifies of Christ). This is a book that I've had access to my whole life, but I never fully realized all that it contains. Yes, from a historical perspective it's cool to learn about life in the Americas thousands of years ago, but it is so much more than that. I really do believe that ancient prophets wrote this book specifically for future generations, aka us today. I have gained insights and understanding and really just increased knowledge of and love for my Savior, Jesus Christ, as I've studied his selfless life and wise teachings with interest. I know that his atonement is central to everything that we believe in, and I am so grateful for this understanding of second-chances, because without it I don't even want to think about where I'd be. This truly is a "Gospel of Happiness", and I am so very grateful to have it in my life.

How I live my faith

CURRENTLY: Serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints, called to serve in the Adriatic South, speaking Albanian! Feeling privileged and excited for this opportunity to serve/teach/befriend/learn from these people of Southeastern Europe. While ideally, as a missionary, I sincerely hope to touch the hearts of those I meet with the message of hope, peace and lasting happiness that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ; I think that if nothing else, if I can exhibit genuine charity and be a positive representative of this church, my mission will be a success. Something to strive for, at least. Really, I hope to share with others this comforting knowledge that has helped me to realize the purpose and significance of my own life, not to mention the insights and answers which studying teachings of this gospel and praying for (and receiving) confirmation of truth, has offered me. (Pre-mish life: ) When I'm at church every Sunday, I live my faith by attending meetings and participating in my classes, and I often find myself teaching primary. Throughout the week I attend Institute/ YSA and tag along with the missionaries when I can. But as important as these activities are in strengthening my testimony, when I think of "how I live my faith", I think of how I treat others. I try to be a friend to those I come into contact with, aiming to treat everyone with kindness, regardless of appearance/ background/ bias, and whether or not anyone is watching. I try to be Christlike.
