Hi I'm Ekadasi
I am an Electro-Wizard of sorts and through the inspiration of Heavenly Father, I am completely self taught.
I love it when others challenge me with work that seems impossible. It allows me to research and teach myself new skills and methods I may not have had before and to show that through Jesus Christ, all things are possible. I was never really much for books before. I usually preferred to stick to schematics and manuals. However after learning the joy of reading the scriptures, I cannot imagine life without them and I love to read them everyday! I have a tendency to amaze others with my knowledge and skills in the field of technology. I can program, troubleshoot, upgrade and designing and build circuits despite being a college dropout. That being said, it is now my greatest desire to go back to school so I may study Genetics and Biotechnology at BYU. I cannot think of technology greater than that which was created by our Father in Heaven in his own image, so that is what I would like to work on.
Why I am a Mormon
I have been gifted with a keen sense of observation. I can see clearly and with detail when a process works, when it fails and when it is improved. I can also see why it works or fails or improves. I have been to different kinds of churches during my period of Hindu faith and none of those actually worked. I was invited (even challenged) to read The Book of Mormon and pray for answers regarding its truthfulness. I actually felt with all I am that truth was fed directly to my heart without words reassuring me of its validity. Having appreciation for the powers above and all the blessings I have, I knew then that the first step to display my gratitude was to get baptized by the proper authority. It was the single most EPIC day of my life to date. Blessings fell upon me and continue to do so still. God's work is not done and has a work for me to do. I have my work cut out for me.
How I live my faith
I look forward to magnifying my calling and helping others do the same by using my skills to aid in service. I love to go out and spread the gospel to all those who are willing to listen, especially with our missionaries. I think of my life before my acceptance of the gospel and I am so glad I finally have it in my life. I do not miss my past but I will always remember it. Those ways of sin and old are my basis of comparison that helps and reminds me everyday to keep the commandments so I may always have the Holy Spirit with me. The guidance that spirit provides is so great and priceless that doing the Lords will is all I can think of doing. To lose that would be to lose all that I have worked for now. I dare not take it lightly nor ever forget it.
