Hi I'm Cory

I'm from Arizona. I am a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of seven children, five of whom are boys. I am currently going to college, studying computer science and spanish. I love learning, reading and making things. Every semester I make a giant cake masterpiece such as R2D2 or Helm's Deep or other such things that require 18 or more cake mixes. I grew up building all sorts of things, from a treehouse 17 feet above the ground to a trebuchet for a friend's 7th grade science project. I like to visit places and meet new people. I been to three different countries and have several more on my to-visit list.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to be true. In this church, we teach that everyone has the need and the ability to learn truth for his/herself, and that God will teach us truth if we seek it. I have done just that. I have studied the scriptures, lived and learned the practices and doctrines of the Church and the Lord has borne witness to me through His Holy Spirit that this Church is true. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to help people whenever I can. Whether it be helping someone move, visiting and getting to know someone or just giving them some desserts. I try to be a good example for those around me and to make it easier for others to feel comfortable living the gospel of Jesus Christ by living it myself.
