Hi I'm Abby

I grew up in Idaho. I love to ballroom dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 19 year old in Idaho. I love to be outdoors and I also love to ballroom dance. I love to smile and meet new people everyday. I have attended a semester in college and hope to continue to become a physical therapy assistant. I love to help others and serve them as much as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have prayed to my Heavenly Father to know if this is true. He gave me an answer and I know without a doubt that this is the true gospel today. If we pray to Him, He will answer. I have felt love, peace, and a burning inside me that testifies to me that this is true. I love knowing that I am never alone, that my Savior is always there right beside me through the ups and downs. I have a Heavenly home and a Heavenly Father who loves me and everybody else on this earth. This is the true gospel. I know it, I live it, I love it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by acting upon it. I will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Chile and I cannot wait to share this true gospel. I enjoy doing service projects for others and making new friends around the neighborhood. Everyone needs someone to talk to and to listen to them and I love to help others by doing that.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

"Look at a marble. Isn't it beautiful." "What makes it beautiful is not that it is free from imperfections. If it were clear and white, with no flaws, it would look plastic and artificial. The marble is beautiful and useful because of the dark veins, not in spite of them. When we repent, our sins are gone, but the memories linger, just like these dark lines. However, as we keep our covenants and experience the sanctifying influence of the Spirit, it is as if those dark lines are polished over time. They actually become part of our beauty." -The Continuous Atonement by Brad Wilcox Brothers and Sisters I testify that Grace makes us beautiful. Grace is what allows us to repent of our sins and be allowed into the presence of God again. Grace is Love. I know that my Savior died for me and each one of us. Allowing us second and third and fourth opportunities. Choose Christ today as we can live a full and happy life. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen Show more Show less
