Hi I'm Philip

I'm serving a Mission! I love my family, I respect my values and beliefs, I'm a Eagle Scout and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am twenty years old and am the middle child of three. I have an older sister and younger brother whom I love greatly. I enjoy swimming, camping, biking and spending time playing games with my family. I was home schooled all of high school, which was a very enjoyable experience. It especially enjoyed it because I was able to spend more time with my family. I love to spend time with friends and serve others. I love the gospel and all that it has to offer. I am a fond believer that people can change.

Why I am a Mormon

This church has a lot to offer. Love, kindness, faith, opportunity, teaching, learning etc. I bare testimony that this is a true church, which was restored by Joseph Smith. The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ, is the word of God. Families can live together forever, life won't end after we die. If we are faithful to the end and endure, we can all live together with our families in the Lord's Kingdom. I testify that we should take every opportunity to learn and grow as best we can. I am deeply grateful for the Plan of Salvation and what it offers for us and I leave this testimony with you in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I constantly strive to live up to what I say I am, and what I do. I pray to the Lord that he will help me during my hardships. Life is always a struggle, however I know that if we are helping others in our day-to-day actions that anyone can make a difference in this world. Whenever I am out and about I try and make sure that what I am doing is what the Lord would want me to do. I love my Savior and what he has done for me. I play the piano in my church for a meeting called priesthood, which is where all the men of the church gather. I honor my Savior Jesus Christ. Especially as a missionary for the church It can be hard, but I enjoy meeting all sorts of different people and making new friends. I pray for the people I make friends with and hope that they will have a bright and hopeful future ahead of them. I wish that all of us would be able to stand up and show who they are by speaking up more for what they believe in. I know, it's difficult, but it can be done. I have had to do it many times, and I was scared at first but after I did it I felt great. I felt like people knew why I did what I did. May we all strive to go the extra mile and living what are beliefs are.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Philip
We believe that families are the core of the church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is all about helping families. For example, I love and my family and the memories we share together are cherished. It's the same with our loving Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ. We(the world) are there children and they love us deeply, more then we can comprehend. The family should always be put at the center of our attention. I know if we do the Lord will bless us and we will be able to all live together in the eternity. Show more Show less
