Hi I'm Andrew

I love my family and I love my friends. I love creating and performing music. I love my faith. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful woman and we have four children together. My family is my greatest source of joy in my life (when my kids aren't being crazy...wait...that's all the time). We have a lot of fun together as a family. I work as a recording engineer. As a part of my job I get to travel around the world and meet many different people. I love getting to know people and learning about their different ways of life. I am fascinated by different cultures and languages and customs. I also love music. I like to sing (unfortunately I'm no good) and I play a few instruments (thankfully better than I sing) and I love to perform any chance I get. I also enjoy creating music in a variety of genres, my favorites being choral music and alternative rock. My other love is the outdoors. There is nothing quite like being out in nature and enjoying the world just the way God created it. It really takes my breath away.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because I believe that the fulness of Christ's gospel is found in this church. I know that God restored his authority to organize and run his church to prophets in our day. I have this testimony because of many experiences that I have had with prayer and communication with my Heavenly Father. I know that I have a Father in Heaven that loves me, and talks to me, and wants me to be happy in this life and return and live with him when I leave this life. I know that I have a Savior that knows me and suffered for all of my sins, heartaches, sicknesses, and challenges. I also know that I need my Savior every single day of my life because I continue to stumble and make mistakes as I try to make my way through this life. I know that together, my Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ, love me more than I can even understand or imagine.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making Jesus Christ a part of my life on a daily basis. I am so grateful for the things that he did for me. I try and live my life the way he wants me to live it. I love sharing my faith with others. First and foremost, I love being able to teach my children about Jesus Christ and his gospel. Watching them learn and grow and come to trust their Savior is a wonderful thing to experience. I also love having the opportunity to share my faith with the people that I interact with in my day to day life. I do that by trying to be a good person who loves unconditionally. Another way I live my faith is by serving in the church. I have taught children and adults, played the piano for our choirs, and served in many other ways. I am currently serving as the leader of my local congregation. As such, I have the opportunity to assist members of the congregation strengthen their relationship with their Savior. Sometimes I am celebrating with those who have reached milestones in their lives or made other good decisions. Other times I am supporting those who have made mistakes or choices that they regret. I consider the opportunity of being able to teach others how to repent and find their Savior as one of the greatest things that I do in my life. I know how good I feel when I make those personal connections with my Savior, so being able to be a witness to that process in other people is a sacred privilege.
