Hi I'm Kaitlyn

I joined the circus when I was 17. I attended college. I was called to serve in the Oklahoma City mission before graduating.

About Me

I began training as an aerialist shortly after graduating high school. I reluctantly went to college where I majored in Therapeutic Recreation and Business Management. I'd not yet finished college when I decided to serve a mission for the LDS church. For seventeen years I never knew I'd find my passion under a circus tent. For many years before that discovery, I'd already found my reason for living. The gospel has given me my daily breathe, and the circus has given me a fun past time and a love of the life that I've been given.

Why I am a Mormon

I struggled with depression during my teenage years. I really questioned my existence here on this fragile earth. I had disturbing thoughts and longed to be free from this mortal life. I soon found the light and the truth in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Knowing the truth about the plan of salvation and of God's love for me as His child gave me the strength to overcome those feelings of sorrow and homesickness for a heavenly home. I can't imagine not having the truth of this gospel in my life, mostly because I believe that I wouldn't have much of one without it.

How I live my faith

Before serving my mission I found so much joy from fulfilling my long-time calling of family history teacher. With this calling I learned to live my faith by participating in my own family history research as well as help those around me learn of their ancestors. I also make a point in putting my faith before my passion. My priorities will always be to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ first and learn to enjoy life by exploring by passion for the circus arts second.
