Hi I'm Olivia

I live in North Idaho, I love to travel, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a sophomore in college, and my dream is to travel the world--I will accomplish this. I have no idea what I want to study yet (I started as a teacher, but now I'm leaning toward the medical field). I like to be outdoors. I love to just be goofy and laugh at dumb things. I love extraordinary people. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, so I think I always had that little seed of a testimony. Nevertheless, I never nourished the seed, so it never grew. I was totally complacent, and I didn't like the direction my life was going. Finally, I realized I would never gain a testimony of the Book of Mormon or the Atonement of Jesus Christ or anything for that matter if I did not ACT. I started reading the Book the Mormon and praying day and night and often in between. I paid my tithing and bore my small testimony when I could. I tried to be the person Christ wanted me to be. Because I acted, my little seed of a testimony grew immensely. Now, the things that troubled me before (sins) no longer are temptations for me. My weaknesses truly became my strengths. I now have a strong relationship with my Heavenly Father. I am eternally grateful and in debt to my Savior Jesus Christ who made it possible for me to repent of my sins and return to live with Him and Heavenly Father. I can't be perfect, but I sure can try my absolute best to be a disciple of Christ. I am a Mormon because the doctrines of His church changed my life--I was saved through the infinite Atonement of Christ. I will strive everyday of my life to become better and share this beautiful Gospel with those who are eager to learn.

How I live my faith

I was a councilor multiple times in my youth group at church. When I went off to college I also served in different groups where I prepared and taught lessons or just organized activities. Whether I have a calling or not, I live my faith by being an disciple of Christ at all times, and in all things, and in all places. I'm far from perfect, but be being the best example I can be, others can come to know the light of Christ. In just a couple of weeks I'll be serving a mission for the LDS church spreading the Gospel of Christ, and bringing others unto the fold--I can hardly wait to share how much joy the Gospel has brought to my life.
