Hi I'm Melinda

I was born in Phoenix, AZ, moved to California as a teenager, then moved to Utah. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I have been a Momon my entire life, as was my mother. My father was a convert. I was raised in a family with one brother and one sister. We were sealed as an eternal family when I was 5. I was married in the Temple, and have served in various ward and stake callings. My interests and hobbies all surround my family, being with them is my greatest joy. We have 5 daughters and 1 son and now have 25 grandchildren and our first "great" due in Jan 2014.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized a member of the church at the age of 8. I remember making the decision to be baptized and the excitement of it all! I have never regretted that decision. My testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel continues to grow, even today. The gospel has blessed my life in the decisions I have made throughout my life, especially where and how to be married. I was married to my eternal companion 46 years ago in the Salt Lake City Temple. To have had all 6 of our children make that choice also, continues to bless our lives and currently the lives of our grandchildren.

How I live my faith

Most of my married life I have served or worked with the youth. Also have had the opportunity of serving the adult sisters in the church. The last 3 years I have served with my husband through his calling with the young single adults at Utah State University. After his release, we were called, and accepted, to be Full Time Missionaries, living at home.
