Hi I'm Julie Webb

I'm a wife, mother of 5 girls, registered nurse, pianist, tennis player and snow skiier. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother raising 5 daughters with my husband. We love to cook, travel, play tennis, and sing together. I am a registered nurse, I love to play the piano and snow ski, and I love to play any sport. Our family spent two years in Singapore recently, and I came to love so many people of different religions and nationalities. Through this I learned that the world is small and we all have so much in common. We all want to find purpose and happiness in life. We love our families and we want to be successful in our jobs and our relationships. Many of us find understanding, peace and direction through our faith.

Why I am a Mormon

Jesus Christ is my hero. I have studied His life and I know He is my Savior. As I have tried to pattern my life after His, I have found so much happiness and peace. When I have made choices that are contrary to what He would do, I have experienced heart ache, disappointment, and regret. I have felt His love and His direction in my life too many times to count. As I have learned His teachings and doctrines by being a member of His church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I believe this to be the true church on the earth today. I have read the Book of Mormon, as translated by Joseph Smith, and I know the accounts of these people to be true. The Book of Mormon testifies of Jesus Christ. I know that we all have a loving Heavenly Father who knows each of us by name. He works with His son, Jesus Christ, to direct and guide The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The heavens are open today and we are able to know the will of God for each of us. This is possible through our own efforts to pray and talk to Him and through living prophets and apostles. We do not need to feel lost and confused if we will listen to these men whom God has called. I know that Thomas S. Monson has been called of God to be the prophet to world. God has also called 14 other men whom we refer to as prophets & apostles. They support and help President Monson in his ultimate role as the prophet of God. We can have a very personal relationship with God as we pray, talk to Him, and ask Him for things we need. Without this knowlege I would be lost and confused. With this knowlege I feel inexpressible gratitude, purpose and love.

How I live my faith

My faith directs every detail of my life. It makes me eager to reach out to my neighbors and become friends with their families. I find endless opportunities to serve and help other people through my faith. I am able to visit with four amazing ladies several times a month through a program I participate in called visiting teaching. We meet at least monthly and talk about God and the good things He blesses us with. We read from the scriptures and we share our thoughts about the purpose of life, being a woman and coming to know God. I also get to teach a group of 7 and 8 year old's every Sunday. I find that I learn much from them. I'm able to share my musical talents often through my church. This began at the age of 12 when I began accompanying my ward chior and playing the organ during our church services. Most importantly, my faith gives me resolve and clarity in my role as a mother and wife. I have chosen to spend the majority of my time in these roles and I've found more satisfaction and happiness than I ever thought possible.
