Hi I'm Lizzy

I like to smile. I love to party, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I went to an early-college high school. I graduated a year early from High school, and had my degree by the time I was 18.I work in a hospital. I love to learn. I research about anything that peaks my curiosity. I have researched what I believe, and what others believe. I love to talk to people. Each person I come in contact with has something that I can learn. I love to try and understand other people, and why they do what they do. I have a huge family. 5 Brothers, and 2 sisters. My family is the center of my life. I love to spend time with them. We party like there is no tomorrow, but I know there is a tomorrow. I even get to live with them even after I die. I like to take vacations. The more spontaneous the better. One time two of my siblings and I left to go to a movie, and returned three days later, after going swimming, shopping, hiking, driving, and meeting a friend, all across three states. All we had was a car, the clothes on our backs and a debit card connected to my savings account. :) You will always find me planning to, or just doing something fun. I live my life to the fullest... every. day. Every day I get to live is a gift from God. Annyywwaaayy. I am Lizzy, I love to smile. I love life. I love to party, and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were members. At the age of 8 I was given a choice to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I chose to be baptized. I did it mostly because it was what I was supposed to do. As I got older, I decided I had to make a choice. I was making decisions that wasn't exactly what God wanted me to do. I knew the things that I was doing wasn't making me happy, and in the meantime was affecting those in my life who were most important to me. I decided to ask God if this church was true. The only way I knew how to ask God is to pray. I prayed and spent time thinking. It made sense in my head, but most importantly it felt right in my heart. I had to change my actions to show what I knew. I am human. I make mistakes, but I know God loves me, and he provided a way for me to change. That way was Jesus Christ. I came to know Jesus Christ, because I needed Him. I know that because of Him, I changed, and I became a better person. I started out being Mormon, because that what I thought I was supposed to do, I am Mormon now because I found out for myself. You can too.

How I live my faith

I love God, and I show Him by doing what he asks me to do. I go to church every week. The way I live my faith the most is:Like it says in the bible, the two greatest commandments, to Love God, and Love everyone like they are me. I believe in Jesus Christ. I try to live my life like He lived His. He helped people, all day every day. I try to find people to help. Christ also taught people what He knew. I try and teach people what I know. Everyone can know what I know, if they want to learn, and are willing to pray and ask God. I can always improve in how I live my faith, but I try to live it the best I know, and that is what counts.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Family is a huge part of what "Mormons" believe. We are a part of a family so that we can help each other to get to "heaven" We believe that we can live with our family, and loved ones, not just"'Till death do us part", but we can be with them forever. This is part of why some Mormons choose to get married in the temple. The temple is key to being "together forever". When we die, we can't take physical things with us, but we can take knowledge, and memories. This is why I try to improve my relationship with my family. I want to be able to have memories with the people I love most. My family. Show more Show less
