Hi I'm Josh Martinez

I live in Houston Texas, I get to travel around the U.S as a corporate trainer for The Cheesecake Factory. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Mesa Arizona, when I was a freshman in High school my family and I moved to Houston Texas. When I was 17 I moved out of my parents house to once again move back to Arizona. After a couple years I made the decision to move back to Houston Texas and have been here ever since. I love to travel, that's why I love my job so much. I work as a corporate trainer for The Cheesecake Factory and have the amazing opportunity to travel around the U.S training servers at the newly opened locations. One of the best parts is all the people I get to meet who come from so many different backgrounds. I have just received my Mission call to Santiago Chile west mission and although I'm sad to leave the job I love I am beyond excited to serve the lord and the people in Chile.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because the gospel gives me purpose, I've never felt so close to the Savior, to my Family and to the whole world as I do as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love Jesus Christ and I am eternally grateful for the sacrifice he's made so I can be forgiven and can be resurrected. I believe there is a Prophet on the earth today to help lead me to be closer to our loving Heavenly Father, and I deeply appreciate his direction. I love that I can get an answer to my prayers everyday and that I can feel the Savior's love for me. I know what it's like to live without the gospel and I am so happy I've fully embraced this loving work that has brought me so much closer to the Savior Jesus Christ and to my wonderful family.

How I live my faith

I help organize our institute of religion class, or bible study, held at the our church building every Thursday night. I set up the chairs, bring snacks, and every now again plan a party day. Every month I also have the opportunity to visit with a few ward members at there home and teach them a short lesson and really get to know them I am leaving for my mission to Santiago Chile in February 2014
