Hi I'm Trinidad

Hola!! I was born in a city, but was raised in a small farm town, that its population was around perhaps 100 persons.

About Me

I'm a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 7. I love being with family and friends. I'm currently attending college, and my major is Sociology, because I love people. When I do get personal time, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and playing games. I love playing board games, which my children find boring, which is why they always tell me "mom that is why they are called board games because they are boring" lool You got to love them. I love fishing, camping and just being outdoors, its the best place for me to go when I just want to be alone with God. But the one thing I enjoy the most is cooking, especially for the Missionaries. I love cooking, it brings me such happiness when I watch other people enjoy my food. It's truly a talent the Lord blessed me with, because of this talent I have been given many opportunities to open my heart to others or at times just be there for someone who needs a friend. I believe that when the Lord hands out talents, its a tool He uses through us to bring His children closer. I do desire to go to school to learn new ways of cooking and new recipes, in hopes to touch many souls. My favorite saying is "strangers are friends we have not met." As stated before I love people, they are amazing. I can see why Heavenly Father loves us so much.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony.. My companionship and love for Jesus Christ. He is above any vessel that lingers. He is the One, Who has a pure love for me, His life is a treasure that is beyond anything that is in this world or in the outer world. I believe that we all have a great work to do, but not for glory of man, but to give glory to God. Many of us go through life not realizing or reaching that great work, or understanding what makes us different from all other that linger here. I feel deep down in the inner part of my soul that I'm close to that great work that I'm here to do for Him, for He is my all, my everything. For I know that without Him, I am nothing, an empty vessel, a shell that is hollow. I desire to give Him so much, not material, but the most inner part of my soul, heart and life, just as He did for me. Even though I know that my great work will never compare to the greatest work He did for us. For His work was and is the greatest of all and no one will be able to compare, besides no one can. We all know that only through His death can everyone live. He set a course for me, so He could polish and perfect me to be like Him, so I can be with Him. His Atonement makes it possible for my soul to be purified as I strive to keep the commandments and the sacred covenants that I made. I know from my own experience that He can and will give me the strength that I need to rise through every trial I have to face. I know for a fact that I'm in the true Church of Christ and He is the true Savior of the world and that He has prophets and apostles leading His church. That is why I am the way I am and why I can go through anything I have to face, because I know that Jesus Christ will be by my side always and I know that going to the temple and reading my scriptures and being of service is where I can find the answers to my prayers. I invite all who read this, to ponder deep into your soul and seek after our Savior. The name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is by volunteering. Volunteering has always been very important to me; it has given me many opportunities to share knowledge, time, and love. The greatest benefit is the personal growth that I have received. Through my years of volunteering I have learned that when I donate my time, it makes such a huge difference within me and the person whom I’m contributing to. The one that has made a huge impact on me was when I was called as a Primary Teacher. Within the two years that I served in this calling I was able to learn to be patient, understanding, and humbleness. My duty was to teach children from ages three to eight years old about the gospel, obedience, faith, and self-care. As I taught the children, I was faced with many challenges, I had to learn that every child had to be taught in different ways, and since I was not as patient as I needed to be I truly was tested. But through those challenges came spiritual enrichment and hope. I knew that it was my responsibility that these youngsters were at a stage where they needed guidance, love, and understanding. Watching how the children grew was a benefit to my self-confidence; I discovered how special and important it is as an adult to allow the children’s simple serves bring humbleness. I noticed how quick they were to share their love, their innocent knowledge and their many questions. Because of their humble ways my faith and love grew so much for the children. Truly this calling brought many blessings in my life. It had been a joyous time for me as a person. I have enjoyed helping many precious souls; to be able to have a positive impact on someone is an uplifting experience that can never be equaled.
