Hi I'm Liesl Webb

I live in Arizona. I'm married, a mother, and love working with Special Needs kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love watching sports and grew up a tomboy, probably because I have a twin brother. I married my best friend and cherish being a mom to four wonderful kids. I love to read History and Fantasy genres. I am interested in Psychology and Sociology. I have worked with Special Needs children for several years and have been taught and enjoyed unconditional love and acceptance by my students. I love making friends! Your background, skin color, size of your bank account, or religious beliefs don't affect my decision to be your friend. I love all who have good hearts and live kind and meaningful lives. I am a diagnosed Bi-polar who has learned to accept myself and live with happiness through hard times. I have many challenges with my health. I currently live with an illness whose symptoms came on rapidly, deteriorated my health, caused seizures, and made me lose my balance. I required the use of a walker for 2 years. Through my Faith in, and my acceptance of, God's will, I have been given peace and strength through my challenges and have experienced miracles. I now am walking on my own and continue to improve with my health! I have a strong testimony that God is our loving and caring Heavenly Father who hears and answers our prayers. He knows each of us individually and desires our happiness and to help us when we reach out to Him. I know that through our Savior Jesus Christ we can receive the strength and comfort to endure through all of our trials and be forgiven of our sins.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel happy and complete when I live the gospel of Jesus Christ. The teachings of the world of men that change to appease trends and popular beliefs do not bring peace to my soul. Only the true doctrine of our Savior and Redeemer will bring lasting happiness. It isn't always easy, but I believe the scripture found in the Book of Mormon 1 Nephi 3:7 "...I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commanded them." I also believe the scripture found in Proverbs 3:5-6. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." I share my testimony with you that all that the Lord has to direct our paths and prepare our way back to Him are found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Mormon Church. I love and know my Heavenly Father and my Savior! They have lifted me when faint, strengthened me when weak, give me joy and perfect love when I come unto Them. I desire for all mankind to know Them as I do and share in these same blessings!

How I live my faith

I am currently working with the Cub Scout program in my church. I love to see young people learn new, positive skills and knowledge to improve their lives! I try to live my life each day as a follower of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I read the scriptures daily and study the Bible and Book of Mormon. I enjoy learning from our Savior in the ways He handled difficulties and was patient, forgiving, and loving towards all. I also love His example of enduring till the end. My motto is to live a little better today than you did yesterday. It's important to me to be working to improve myself each day. It's also important to me to treat others the way I would want to be treated. I love being a Mormon! The teachings that we have and live bring peace and happiness to all. I enjoy sharing my beliefs with those who are interested. I invite all to learn more about my church and to come unto Christ and partake of the fullness of His gospel that He has taught and restored through His chosen prophet, Joseph Smith, to bless and save the lives of all mankind.
