Hi I'm Chris

I'm a college student. I love reading, writing, and drawing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently studying computer science at Brigham Young University. Between working to put myself through school and studying to put myself through classes, I don't have much time left over. When I do have the time though, I'm a sucker for science fiction or fantasy literature - or writing and drawing sci fi or fantasy subjects. If I'm not buried in a good book, you might find me buried in a good movie or TV series. If that fails, then go ahead and check if I'm on the prowl in whatever online multiplayer game that's managed to win my favor for the month. I served a full-time LDS missoin in Rostov-na-Donu, Russia, and am fluent in Russian. I'll be taking a minor in Russian during my time in college.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because that's what comes naturally to me as I seek to come closer to Jesus Christ. My faith gives me courage when I might otherwise feel fear. I have to say, it's hard to stay sad or angry for long when you have a solid understanding of why you're here, where you came from, and what's waiting for you afterwards.

How I live my faith

I stay current with those I am responsible for home teaching. I play the piano during Sunday classes, even though I only know how to play five and a half songs, and even those I struggle with. I never miss church if I can help it, and I do all I can to lead a Christ-centered life.
