Hi I'm Anahi

I was born and raise in Mexico. I live in Utah. I'm the mother of twin baby girls, born at 24 weeks, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to cook. I love my little family of five including me. My husband, my two beautiful daughters and I can't left behind my puppy Paz. After trying to get pregnant for five years and many many doctor visits, we were able to conceive trough InVitro. The embryo transfer was a success, we had to wait two very very long weeks to know if the embryos implanted. The nurse called and she said, congratulations YOU ARE PREGNANT! what a wonderful day, I cried, my husband cried, my mom cried, everybody cried. We were so happy. Soon after the great news we found out that getting pregnant wasn't the hard part, keeping the pregnancy it was gonna be a challenge too. I started having some bleeding and I was put on bed rest at 21 weeks. The doctor was really concerned, he was very honest and told us that we needed a miracle to keep the babies inside my belly for at least 24 weeks. I cried like a baby after hearing that. My sweet husband told me, "everything is gonna be Ok. Ill give you a priesthood blessing as soon as we get home. He said so many great things on that very inspired blessing. the one that got stuck on my head was. The babies would be OK, they will grow healthy and strong every day, they would develop and we will be able to take them home with us. At 24 weeks and 3 days the girls were born. They were perfect, but so small, 1Lb 8oz and 1Lb 6oz. After 103 days at the NICU we took our 6+ Lb babies home. They are a living miracle.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have asked to God in pray if the teachings that my parents thought me growing up. This Church is the true church of JesusChrist. We have the power of the priesthood on earth again, thanks to that i have my two daughters growing and developing as normal full term babies.

How I live my faith

Im part of the activities committee at the Relief Society. I enjoy meeting with the other members of the committee to plan activities that would help the sisters in our ward but also reach to the rest of the wonderful women in our boundaries.
