Hi I'm Mark

I grew up in California, I am a civil designer, I'm a Mormon

About Me

Spending time with my family is the thing I love to do the most. I work long days and there is nothing better than coming home to them at night and sharing my daily experiences with them. I also love to read, some of my favorite types of books are fantasy literature, mystery and the scriptures. I love it when my children and I read the same books and can enjoy the stories together. I try to read to my younger children on a daily basis. When I am not working or home with my family I attend the local college / university, working on furthering my education. I have worked in the field of civil engineering for many years and it requires that I continue to improve on my skills by going to school. I get a great sense of accomplishment to grown in knowledge.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church because of the happiness that it brings in my and my family's life. The spirit that I enjoy as a member gives me directions and helps me work through some of the more difficult things that life sends my way. Every day I thank my Heavenly Father for all that he has blessed me with, my home, my family, my health, his Son Jesus Christ, he has given me so much. Being a Mormon means a great deal to me. It isn't just a group I belong to, but a definition of who I am. It is how I live my life. How I teach my children. It is how I conduct my self each day. It defines the choices I make each day.

How I live my faith

My family and I are attend church regularly. The spirit we feel when we are there allows us to become closer to your Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I am currently the High Priest Group Leader in our ward and enjoy working with the members of our group and with the other members of the ward. I also enjoy leading our Sunday lessons of the gospel.
