Hi I'm Ilse

I'm a mother of 2 beautiful kids, I love books and movies, I'm a mormon

About Me

I'm mother of a boy who is 4 and a girl who is 14 month's. Together with my husband we just moved to our new home. I enjoy making our new house our home while my husband works in IT. I'm active at my son new school and that is great. I love reading all kinds of books especially during vacation time with the family. I also really love doing family history, my grandpa started it and now I'm moving forward.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 17 after I was done with high school my parents, who are non members, gave me the option of going to the US for a year, to go to high school there. I accepted and lived with my mom's aunt how is a member. They asked me to came with them to church and I said yes. I loved it and I make a lot of friends. But more then that it felt like came home, everything I taught made sence to me. In my hearth I wanted to get baptized but I wanted to talk to my parents first. When I moved back and moved out for college I called the missionaries and I was baptized. I never regerted my choice and now I'm married in the temple. It has not always been easy but the worth it.

How I live my faith

In church I work with the children from 18 month's until they are 12. I teach them and sing with them on Sunday and organize activities during the week. It is really special to see the little children pray or talk about Jesus. I love seeing the big kids really getting to know things about the gospel. When we sing the songs together I can often feel the love of Christ for the children, for me and for everyone.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Ilse
Yes I love the knowledge that my husband and our kids can be together forever. This is is because we are married in the temple and try our best to live the gospel. Show more Show less
