Hi I'm Jill Soffe

I have lived in Utah my whole life and have been a Mormon my whole life.

About Me

My husband and I have raised seven children and have always been active in the Mormon faith. I have taught children the piano for 25 years, taught children tennis and sewing lessons, and I have enjoyed making my husband and children costumes for Halloween and Christmas. I have experienced great joy in serving in almost every capacity in the Mormon organization. All our children have served LDS missions to Japan, Hong Kong, Spain, Italy, Argentina, Guatemala and Texas. We traveled to all their missions and loved meeting the people that had become such an important part of our son and daughters lives. We are presently waiting to go next month to San Diego, California on our senior couple mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe and have great faith that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I have experienced the spirit of our Father in Heaven and know that Jesus is my Savior.

How I live my faith

I have always felt a need to give of service. I truly know that I am happier when I think less of my own needs and concentrate on the needs of others. I have enjoyed many callings such as president of the women's organizations, the young men and young women's organizations, as well as the youth groups. It has brought me great joy and I know that there were many adults who helped my children to find and build their testimonies of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which brought great blessing into their lives.
