Hi I'm Brenda Gwynn Larson

I'm a Mormon, mom, grandmother of 11 and still counting (I pray), a farm girl, and love the open road and adventure!

About Me

I'm retired now and enjoy adventures! My husband and I recently floated the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon for 20 days - AWESOME!!! This year we hope to finish hiking the Appalachian Trail. Keeping up with my husband, 11 grandchildren and 6 children keeps me pretty busy; and, when I have time I like to garden, hike, and read. My husband and I look forward to watching our grandchildren grow, serve their missions, and go on a mission ourselves.

Why I am a Mormon

My husband has been a Mormon all his life and I grew up in a Methodist household. When we met he invited me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and what a difference! Everyone was so nice, genuine and I could feel peace and joy and an excitement, the Holy Spirit! I happily said "Yes" to an invitation to speak with the Elders and that began my conversion process. And conversion is a process that is ongoing as I strive to be more Christ like in all that I do and who I am in the lives of others.

How I live my faith

I serve as the Cubmaster for those cute little cub scouts! Many times I speak with my husband, who is on the High Council and speaks on assigned topics at ward meetings. Together, we do home teaching within the community. We also organize the stake Day of Service Blood Drive.
