Hi I'm Bonnie

I'm a wife, a mom & a career coach. I love learning new things, creating ideas, making things happen and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the LDS faith. I joined the Church 31 years ago and love how it has impacted and enhanced my life. I am happily married and have 5 incredible children who are all adults now and who choose to make a difference no matter where they live and work. I'm a grandmother who gets to be called GiGi and wishes I didn't live so far from my adorable and funny grand kids. I am a Career Coach for teens and twenty-something's, helping them figure out whats right for their lives and helping their parents understand and support their children's decisions. I love working with youth! I love their energy and their courage. I love working with women who have been impacted by abuse or violence helping them to become advocates for themselves and their families and helping them to remember their individual worth and value. I am passionate about inspiring and motivating others to make decisions and take action. I love reading and learning new things. I love working out, being physically active, the outdoors, laughing (mostly at myself)..and being around people. I love my dog Marshall, writing and music - listening to and being inspired by the musical talents of others. I love cookbooks but not cooking and I love collecting inspiring quotes.

Why I am a Mormon

I first learned of the Church after our family's life was impacted by a tragic accident. We were introduced to the missionaries who taught about the principle of eternal families and the restoration of the fullness of the gospel, that had been lost for a long time. I'm a Mormon because I believe these things because of my experiences and many miracles in my life. I'm a Mormon because I believe this is the Lord's Church on the earth today and I believe in Christ. I believe He loves each of us and knows even the smallest details of our lives. I believe in the gift of freedom to choose for ourselves - which means that sometimes bad things happen to good people. I also believe that we are never alone - even in the darkest and most challenging times of our lives. I believe Christ - that he loves even me. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I have served with the youth of the Church for almost 30 years and love the energy they bring. I'm currently a Stake Young Women's President and am responsible for creating events, activities and leadership opportunities for about 150 young women between the ages of 12-18. Living my faith is a daily thing, that provides many opportunities for me to grow on so many levels; spiritually, emotionally, personally and professionally. I'm not perfect at living my faith. I don't always do or say the right things but my faith makes me want to try harder, to be a better person. I can't imagine my life without it!
