Hi I'm Susan

I have a passion for baking. I love people and trying new adventures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love doing a variety of things; cooking, acting, running, and singing just to name a few. I often times am not very good at most things I try to do, but my goal is to simply have a good time. I have grown up in a very large family which has had it's ups and downs, but has overall been a huge factor in the person I am today, and I wouldn't change it for anything. I have been attending Brigham Young University for the past semester and absolutely loved every minute of it, but now I'm taking 18 months off to go serve a mission in the California Roseville mission. I one of my favorite things about life is the opportunity to make and upkeep meaningful relationships, whether it be with my family, my friends, my classmates, or my God.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know it's the true church on this earth today. This gospel has given me so much joy, from giving me better perspective on life, to purpose in knowing who I am and what I can become. This gospel is a message of joy! I don't know where I'd be today without the guidance I get from reading the Book of Mormon and listening to the prophet. I am so grateful for the opportunity that I've had to live my whole life with the knowledge of this gospel, and I'm excited to share this good news with others so they can receive the same fullness of joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to emulate Christ in every way possible. I mess up, I make mistakes, but I don't let that stop me from utilizing the atonement and trying to work a little harder to be a little better. I think one of the most important ways I can live my faith is by treating everyone as the child of God that they truly are. In my college ward I was given a leadership calling over many of my peers, I found the best way to lead was to serve. Christ did everything for us, so the best way to be like Christ is to serve like Christ and show people you truly care about them.
