Hi I'm Emma

I'm from Denmark. I love reading. I love traveling. I love learning new languages. I'm a missionary. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am half Danish and half English; I was born and raised in Denmark, and England is one of my favourite places in the world. I love traveling to new places and learning new languages. One of my favourite things to do is reading books. I am currently serving as a missionary in San Jose, California.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up being a member of the LDS church, but I have learned for myself that what I have been taught all my life is true. I have prayed to my Heavenly Father and asked whether this church is true, whether Joseph Smith was a prophet and whether the Book of Mormon is the word of God and I have received an answer. I have felt such peace, love, and warmth in my heart and I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church once again restored to the earth. Being a Mormon is a choice I actively have to make every day, but because I have felt in my heart that the church is true, it is an easy choice to make. I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father, and all he wants is for us to know how much he loves us and for us to return to Him. I love being a Mormon, it brings a great joy to my life every single day. Especially now as I am serving as a missionary, and I have the opportunity to share this message with others. I know that what I am doing is the most important thing I could be doing right now, because I am doing it for my Saviour, Jesus Christ, and I would do anything for my Saviour because He has done everything for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith with everything that I do. My faith in God and in Jesus Christ is part of who I am, and it shows in my daily life. I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ in all that I do. I live my faith by attending church every Sunday, praying, reading in the Book of Mormon and the Bible, and doing my best to become more like our Saviour. I am also currently serving as a missionary in San Jose, California for 18 months. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It has brought me so much happiness throughout my life and I am happy to be sharing this joy with everyone I meet here in San Jose.
