Hi I'm Lacey

I love horses, music, and psychology. I am working with at-risk youth in an equine therapy program and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from school in Idaho with my B.S. in Psychology. I would like to become an Equine Assisted Psychotherapist and work with at-risk youth after obtaining my M.S. in Utah. I love music and love to explore new instruments. My primary instrument is the cello which I have been playing for almost 10 years now but in addition to the cello I have spent time learning how to play the clarinet, accordion, piano, mandolin, ukulele, violin, viola, and guitar. I love to spend time with my family playing games and laughing together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because Christ loves me and wants me to become the best version of me that I can become. I know that His atonement is eternal and that through it I am able to learn and grow throughout my life. Each day is another change to come a step closer to Him and I love that.

How I live my faith

I live by my faith by striving to become better each day. I try to spend time each morning and night praying to my Heavenly Father and thanking Him for my blessings. I also strive to live a life where I am able to show Christ's love for others through my actions. I spend time each week at church teaching others how to find their ancestors through modern technology and through living relatives in order to find names for work for the dead in our temples (For more information see Frequently Ask Questions: http://mormon.org/faq/topic/temples/question/baptism-for-the-dead ).
